Fishing Rules at Redwell Fisheries
John is a stickler for keeping Redwell Fisheries Rules.
All persons must be in possession of a valid Environmental Agency Rod Licence obtainable at any Post Office. Please be aware that knotted nets are not allowed by law Please do not drive through the caravan park to unload your fishing tackle Disabled or elderly anglers please make prior arrangements for unloading tackle. Day tickets must be obtained before starting fishing, which is permitted from 7.30 am until dusk. Anglers must have permission if a spectator is joining them. (max 1 spectator per day ticket) Childrens’ tickets are only issued if an adult ticket is also purchased Children must be accompanied by a responsible adult and not be allowed to wander unaccompanied around the fisheries. All nets MUST be sterilized in a dip tank before use. Keep nets may only be used for matches, but Carp must not be put in them. Please check with me if unsure about this rule. Anglers must remain within arms reach of their rods, or the terminal tackle/bait must be removed from the water. No barbed hooks. No spinning. No bolt rigs (free running ledgers only) The Method fishing is not allowed here. Please do not harm the fish in any way. Bait restrictions. No Boillies, nuts, blood worms, trout or halibut pellets/pastes. Ground bait may be used but a maximum of half a kilo. Please do not throw any unused bait in the water or leave it on the banks. Bivvies and Optronic alarms are not allowed. (see night fishing rules) Alcohol may not be consumed on the premises. No radios to be used. Litter can be a problem at Fisheries. We have no facilities for refuse and ask you to take all your litter home with you. PLEASE LEAVE THE FISHERIES AS YOU WOULD LIKE TO FIND IT. Anyone found to be in breach of the Fisheries rules will be asked to leave without refund
