Fishing at Redwell Fisheries Park

Fishing at Redwell

The lakes take up about 5 acres of the site and are split into 4. All are connected and the fish have the freedom to swim in any of them. Choose your peg carefully and do not be afraid to move if fishing is a little slow on your first choice.

The Fisheries were restocked in 1997 (at a cost of over £10,000) with lots of quality Carp, some of which are now well into double figures with four Mirrors close to 30lb. Many other species also inhabit the lakes including Bream, Tench, Rudd and many interesting hybrids. We are listed on many respected fishing sites including www.ukfisherman.com andFind Fishing Resources With The FishCollective

Redwell Wildlife Gallery

At Redwell Fisheries Park, we have easy access to the beautiful Lancashire Coastline, the Yorkshire Dales, and the Lake District all within minutes. Redwell Fisheries Park is uniquely set in its own private valley, and surrounded by miles of open countryside on the doorstep for cycling, fishing, rambling or simply enjoying a bit of quality relaxation time.

The lakes themselves are a fisherman’s paradise, and are well stocked with carp, bream, tench, rudd and many other varieties. Other regular visitors to the park include herons, cormorants, blue jays and lots of other wild birds in addition to the families of ducks resident on the lakes.
